How to stay motivated in doing exercises
Physical activity is important to our health and helps us lose fat stored in our body. We know that we should exercise but we just can't find enough motivation to do so. What to do in this case? What to do if you feel that doing exercises is a punishment for you and you don't like it at all, in fact you hate it. Well, there are some ideas on how to stay motivated.
Set realistic goals
Don't put yourself in position when you set very high goals that are impossible to achieve. Setting high goals will definitely not help you. Don't focus on goals at the beginning just to your job, train at least 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes. You will se some kind of results after 2 weeks but don't expect miracles. You won't lose all of your fat in this period. Your goal should be to lose weight, it doesn't matter really how much you will lose.
Check your progress
The best way to do that is to note all in a training diary. Write all, duration of training, how often. You can also report the weight after each training.
Don't expect to be perfect
There will be times that you won't be able to do the planned training because of some unexpected situation. Don't be worried even if that happens you can always do more exercises the next week. Don't let that bother you.
Don't compare yourself to the other There will be always someone better then you. Someone more faster, slimmer etc. If you are ashamed to train with the others you can always do that alone at home.
Try to have fun during training
Don't treat exercises as punishment. Don't force yourself to do the exercises that you don't like. It has to be something that will make you feel good. For some people it will be just running, for other bike riding or even just walking. Walking is also very good exercise. The key is to enjoy it so it doesn't matter what it is as long as it inolves some kind of movement to burn fat from body.
If you feel that 60 minutes of training is to boring for you don't do that. Do 30 minutes of workout instead. You can always do that 4 times a week instead of 3 times.
Reward yourself
It doesn't have to be a food, don't reward yourself with chocolate. It's not a good idea. Find something you like and buy it. Go in a place you like enjoy yourself.
